Jordin brings Sparks to our Phoenix Megastore
While I was busy enjoying my Thanksgiving feast our Virgin team at the Arizona Mills Mall was hard at work for our American Idol in-store event this past weekend. Jordin Sparks’ self-titled debut, was just released last Tuesday…however the winner of the sixth season of “American Idol” had a surprise for all her hometown fans when she visited our Phoenix Megastore for an exclusive meet and greet. Fans camped out at our Arizona Mills Megastore to get her new CD and over 500 of them had the chance to meet the A.I. champ.The dance-pop-soul singer is being compared to the likes of Beyonce, Nelly Furtado and Christina Aguilera by reviewers – however those who showed up this weekend were only seeing ‘Sparks’. We stocked our shelves with her CD and sold out within just a few hours! Sounds like it was a good homecoming weekend for Ms. Sparks as well. We hope you all had a great holiday!
